Grigore Vieru is one of the most remarkable poets of our nation. His creations are probably heard in every family in Moldova, through poetry or songs they have marked generations in a row. In the village of Pererita, at the poet's birthplace, is the House Museum „Grigore Vieru”. A visit to the House Museum is a great opportunity to see the nest that gave it wings, and it would probably be the most beautiful way to pay homage to the poet.

The village of Pererita has located 244 km from Chisinau in the Prut meadow. It is a very picturesque place with a special energy.

The Museum House was restored according to the project of the architect Eugen Bâzgu, and the interior aspect of the museum was designed by the specialists from the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History. Today the rooms of the house are arranged with things that belonged to the poet's family, but also other authentic exhibits from the years 1930-1940.

Inside the house was preserved the painting of the walls and ceiling made by the mother of the great poet.

The „Grigore Vieru” House Museum also contains an annexe with the exhibition of the poet's creation: volumes of poems, manuscripts, photographs, translation volumes and literary criticism.

The visit to the „Grigore Vieru” Museum House can teleport you to the poet's childhood, and from the guide's stories, you can imagine how the poet went to graze the cow on the bank of the Prut, how he waited for his mother at home, what the evenings were doing in the oven and what life was like. after the war.

The parental house of the poet Adrian Păunescu from Copăceni village became a museum

The house of the Romanian poet Adrian Păunescu from the village of Copăceni, Sangerei district, was renovated and transformed into a museum of Romanian literature. This is after the Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion association bought the house where Păunescu lived. Here, some of the things that belonged to him will be kept, as well as his volumes of poetry.

The house was purchased by the Siret-Prut-Dniester Euroregion on April 2 for ten thousand euros. The plan of the house is the same one in which Adrian Păunescu was born. The truth is that I could not use the old materials because, at the time of purchase, the house had almost entered the ground. It is not ready, as you know, those flowers that made the house beautiful will be painted on the ends, said Ludmila Sfârloagă, vice-president of the Prahova County Council in Romania.

„I used to go here every day and my soul ached because the house where such a great poet was born was on the verge of extinction,” said Maria Bajura, president of the „COPĂCENI-VDR” foundation.

The value of the works amounts to over 70 thousand euros. In the two small rooms in the house, you will find the cradle in which Adrian Păunescu grew up, but also his volumes of poetry. The walls will be covered with wallpapers representative of the poet's life and activity.

One part is the old house that we have been furnishing with old furniture from 1940, including the copy in which Păunecu was rocked, which was found and a room that will present his poetic, journalistic and militant work for the rights of the Romanian people everywhere, he declared. In his 67 years of life, Adrian Păunescu published over 50 books, mostly volumes of poems, which were published in a record circulation of over one million copies.

There is only one man who wrote over 300 thousand verses, it is Adrian Păunescu. The foundation I led, Mihai Viteazu, requested that from next year, Adrian Păunescu be written in the book of world appeals, added Mircea Cosma.

The museum house is set to open to visitors at the end of July. A stage has been set up in the courtyard where music and poetry festivals will be organized.

The Romanian side took care to create all the conditions, including this stage, where concerts will take place, the „Yellow Quince” festival which is the main subject of this settlement, said Valeriu Rusu, head of the Culture Department, Singerei district.

The inhabitants of Copăceni hope that Adrian Păunescu's house will become a real cultural centre.

„It is very good that it was renovated, it was a disaster here. It has changed for the better, the stage has been set, concerts will be organized”.

„The house was old, it was ruining. I think it's worth it for such a man. I was a year or two when they lived there,” people said.

Adrian Păunescu was a poet, literary critic, essayist, magazine director, publicist, lyricist, writer, translator and Romanian politician. He was born on July 20, 1943, in Copaceni. The poet's heart stopped beating on November 5, 2010, at the Floreasca Hospital in Bucharest.

Although he was born in Copăceni, Adrian Păunescu spent most of his childhood in Bârca, Dolj County, Romania, where he went with his family.
