Who was Glebus Sainciuc? Short biography

Glebus Sainciuc (b. July 19, 1919, Chisinau, Romania - d. October 16, 2012, Hîncești, Hîncești district, Republic of Moldova) was a Bessarabian plastic artist, portraitist, known especially for his collection of papier mâché masks, which he presented them himself



Author of several painting and graphic works, highly appreciated by critics, and outstanding personality for his civic attitude, the artist Glebus Sainciuc distinguished himself by his originality of style, an undeniable acting talent and subtle humor. He had many albums ("Literature and art of Moldova": encyclopedia in two volumes, Chisinau, 1989, etc.).
