Zinaida Julea was born on December 2, 1951, in the village of Hârbovăț, Anenii Noi district. He studied at the "Stefan Neaga" High School of Music (1973-1977) with Vladimir Achimov (choral conductor) and at the Institute of Arts (1988-1993) in Chisinau with Vasile Stratulat (directing cultural events).

At the age of 16, Zinaida Julea is invited by the maestro Serghei Lunchevici as a soloist in the "Fluieraș" Folk Music Orchestra of the Chisinau Philharmonic (currently the "S. Lunchevici" National Philharmonic), where she performed until 1991. With this artistic team he made several tours abroad, touring almost all continents.

For several years, Zinaida Julea has been an employee of the “Mugurel” Folk Music Orchestra, conducted by Ion Dascăl. Then he performed in several shows with the "Lăutarii" Folk Music Orchestra, conducted by maestro Nicolae Botgros, with the "Joc" Ensemble Orchestra, the "Folklore" Orchestra, the "Teleradio-Moldova" Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gheorghe Mustea, with the Orchestra. Symphony of the National Philharmonic, conducted at the time by Valentin Doni. Currently, Zinaida Julea is the soloist of the Municipal Orchestra of the Capital, conducted by brothers Vasile and Vitalie Advahov.

In 1976, Zinaida Julea was awarded the honorary title of Emeritus Artist, and in 1985 - the title of People's Artist. In 1993 she was awarded the "Civic Merit" medal and in 1997 - the "Order of the Republic". Zinaida Julea sang together with Nicolae Sulac, Serghei Lunchevici, Victor Copacinschi, Ion Dascăl, Tamara Ciobanu, Gheorghe Eșanu, Alexei Botoșanu, Petre Zaharia, Simion Brânzilă and others. He recorded several music albums: "For everyone's heart", "On the village street", "World, don't judge me" and so on. A street in her hometown is named after her.
