Carabet Balioz's mansion is an architectural monument of national importance in the village of Ivancea, Orhei district (Republic of Moldova), built in the second half of the 19th century.

He was raised at the command of the Armenian boyar Carabet Balioz between 1852 and 1873, presuming to be Manuc Bei's administrator and son-in-law. The building is built in Western European style and with elements of Russian classicism. The mansion also includes a park, of 3 ha, known as the park from Ivancea, with chestnuts, firs, lindens, as well as exotic plants for the Republic of Moldova. Also, there is a water tower on three levels, barns, cellars, mill, stables, blacksmith shop and other annexes.
In 1941, Balioz's descendants took refuge across the Prut, and the mansion was used by the new administration as a military hospital, bath, library, and other purposes. Part of the boyar's fortune was stolen and disassembled by the locals. In 1975 it was taken under state protection, and in 1984 the complex was transformed into the Museum of Folk Crafts, a subsidiary of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History.
Balioz Mansion Park is one of the oldest parks in the Republic of Moldova. Its composition includes both plantations and minor architectural structures - artificial hills, fountains. On the estate are rare plants from different countries / Crimean Cemetery, Chinese Treasury, Siberian Cedar, Ginkgo Tree, popularly called the TREE OF HAPPINESS.
