Top best monasteries from Republic of Moldova

The churches and the monasteries suffered a lot in soviet period. The best beautiful monasteries was closed and transformed in depositis, gyms, clubs or hospitals. After the disappearence of the Soviet Union a lot ofthis monasteries was reopeed at its destiantions. We invite you to see the most beautifull monasteries from Republic of Moldova, which deserve to be seen by every tourist.
Monastery Capriana 
Căpriana monastery (Romanian: Mănăstirea Căpriana) is a monastery in Căpriana, Moldova, located 40 km north-west of Chișinău. More about  this monastery you can read here.

Monastery Ciuflea
Ciuflea Monastery (Romanian: Mănăstirea Ciuflea) is a Moldovan Orthodox monastery located in Chișinău, Moldova. It is dedicated to Saint Theodore of Amasea. The monastery was financed by Anastasie Ciufli (1801 – 1870) to respect the last will of his brother Teodor Ciufli (1796 – 1854). The two brothers were Aromanian merchants who emigrated from Macedonia to Bessarabia in 1821. More about  this monastery you can read here.

Monastery Condrita
According to the preserved historical documents the unremarkable St. Nicholas Monastery in Condrita was founded in 1783. Being a small cloister it was attributed to the monastery in Capriana, to which it belonged. St. Nicholas and Capriana monasteries were subordinate to the Holy Mountain on Athos. This monastery has a legend which says that Haiduk Condrea while was asking forgiveness and cleansing of the soul in prayer, he heard a voice that said to him to water a dry stump every day, however the irrigation water must be brought in the mouth. More about  this monastery you can read here.

Monastery Curchi
Curchi Monastery is one of the most important architectural monuments of Bessarabia, and it is also considered to be one of the most beautiful and famous monasteries of the region. It is located in Orhei forest near Curchi village, approximately 14 km southwest of the town of Orhei. The monastery is situated in the Vatici valley on a bank of the Vatic River between rich hills covered with forests, gardens and orchards. The monastery is a real gem, offering silence and peace. The monastery has a rich religious and cultural past spanning more than two centuries. Monastery Noul Neamt
Noul Neamț Monastery (Romanian: Mănăstirea Noul Neamț; Russian: Свято-Вознесенский Ново-Нямецкий монастырь) is an all-male Moldovan Orthodox monastery located in Chiţcani, near Bender and Tiraspol. Geographically located in the historical region of Basarabia, it is today controlled by the breakaway Transnistrian authorities.
